Bills put rookie WR Hardy on IR, ending season

NFL football news

Buffalo put rookie receiver James Hardy on injured reserve Saturday, ending his season a day before the Bills close out their schedule against the Patriots at home.

Hardy tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Buffalo’s 31-27 loss to the New York Jets two weeks ago.

Running back Bruce Hall came off the practice squad to fill Hardy’s roster spot. Hall was an undrafted rookie free agent out of Mississippi and has been on the practice squad all season.
